OUR STORY:

In December 2015, God planted a divine vision in the heart of Pastor Akosua—a vision to create a sacred space where women could encounter Christ, receive encouragement, and access resources to strengthen their walk with the Lord.

In obedience to this calling, WomanRediscovered.com was birthed in February 2016— an unassuming webpage that became a gathering place for women seeking to uncover and embrace their true identity in Christ. What began as a simple digital platform soon blossomed into a movement of faith, transformation, and purpose.

On August 20, 2016, the first Woman Rediscovered Prayer Conference took place in Cincinnati, OH, marking the beginning of a thriving community of women hungry for God’s presence. This momentum led to the launch of the WRD Show in March 2017, airing on Ghana Beats radio—a platform dedicated to addressing real-life issues affecting women while equipping them with biblical wisdom, encouragement, and practical resources.

God’s hand continued to expand the vision. In August 2017, Woman Rediscovered Ghana was established to mirror the impact of the ministry in Akosua’s home country of Ghana, West Africa.

Under the anointed leadership of Dinah Adu Asare, doors opened for Woman Rediscovered Campus Ministry, igniting a movement across universities in Accra, Ghana, where young women are being discipled and empowered in their faith. Today, Woman Rediscovered Ghana has presence in Accra, Kumasi and Tema, Ghana equipping women with biblical truth.

In 2024, Woman Rediscovered USA expanded its reach by establishing new chapters in Michigan and Massachusetts, creating vibrant communities where women could gather, grow in their faith, and be equipped to walk in their God-given purpose. These chapters have become hubs of encouragement, discipleship, and empowerment, uniting women from different backgrounds under a shared passion for Christ.

In February 2025, another chapter unfolded as Woman Rediscovered UK was birthed— a community dedicated to gathering and equipping women across the United Kingdom, empowering them to step into their divine calling with confidence and purpose.

Building on this momentum, in March 2025, Woman Rediscovered Missouri was officially launched, further extending the movement’s impact in the USA. As these new chapters take root, they continue to serve as places of restoration, sisterhood, and spiritual renewal, carrying forward the mission of helping women rediscover their identity and purpose in Christ.

The story of Woman Rediscovered is still being written, and we stand in awe of how God is transforming lives through this movement. We invite you to be part of this journey!
