Woman Rediscovered is an intercultural, interdenominational all women fellowship and life group.

Ministry by women, to women and for women to grow in their spiritual relationship and knowledge of God.

We empower women to be strengthened in their role as members of the Lord’s church, in their family and community at large.

We operate under the 3 P’s-

  • Power - to experience the transformative power of Christ at work in us.

  • Purpose - to identify and develop our God-given purpose on earth.

  • People - to launch out and meet the needs of people in our community.

Fellowship groups meet in Cincinnati, Ohio, Hartford, Connecticut and Accra, Ghana.

Mission:

The mission of Woman Rediscovered is to empower women into the fullness of their God-given purpose through targeted spiritual and personal development.

VISION:

To Re-define womanhood through the lenses of Christ Jesus.

WHAT WE BELIEVE:

·       We believe that the Bible  is God’s word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to everyday lives.

·       We believe in one eternal God who is creator of all things. He exists in three  persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

·       We believe in speaking in tongues which is a gift of the Holy Spirit.

 

OUR STORY:

In December 2015, a vision was planted in Akosua’s heart to create a place where women can encounter Christ, find encouragement and resources to strengthen their walk with the Lord.

In response to this vision, Womanrediscovered.com was launched in February 2016 as an unpretentious place to share life together as we uncover and discern the true women God is calling us to be.

On August 20, 2016, the first prayer conference was held in Cincinnati, OH as the community of women interested in Woman Rediscovered began to grow. On March 15, 2017, the WR Show began airing on Ghana Beats radio serving as an avenue to discuss real issues affecting women and provide insights, resources and encouragement. 

In August 2017, Woman Rediscovered Ghana was launched to duplicate the efforts of Woman Rediscovered in Akosua’s home country Ghana, West Africa.

Under the leadership of Dinah Adu Asare, God opened doors for Woman Rediscovered to begin campus ministry across universities in Accra, Ghana.

The story of Woman Rediscovered is still being written and we are excited to continue sharing the restorative power of Christ for many more years to come.
